Description To reduce poverty and improve living standards and educational attainment in the poorest families by providing regular payments to the female head of household. This support also helps in reducing vulnerability to shocks such as flooding due to climate change. 315,000 additional beneficiary families will benefit by 2020. This programme will contribute to 1.05 million primary school children being supported in school and directly contribute to Millennium Development Goals 1: Eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, and Millennium Development Goals 2: Achieve universal primary education
